JobRouter AG announces UK office expansion: Managing Director Jayesh Patel focuses on Compliance and Regulatory Solutions in Financial Services

Mannheim/London, January 2017 - JobRouter AG, the leading solution provider for the digital enterprise transformation and manufacturer of a cross-industry process automation and digitisation platform, is announcing a further expansion in 2017. After the expansion in Morocco, Turkey and Poland, the fifth location is now confirmed to be London, UK, and will extend its focus towards the financial services industry. This is effective as of 1st January 2017. Jayesh Patel, previously Director of Operations at Kofax Optitrade, will head up the business and is initially planning to offer solutions for MIFID II reporting and other data exchange solutions for the financial services industry. Besides this, Jayesh will work closely with JobRouter CEO Fritz-Jochen Weber and CCO Marcus Nagel, to develop even more comprehensive solutions for the overall digital enterprise transformation throughout the most diverse industries.

All Investment Manager and Broker will be required to conform to the new MiFID II ‘Transaction Reporting’ regulations under the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) as soon as possible. They are scheduled to come into effect in January 2018. Going forward, MIFID II regulates how and with which party investment transactions are to be concluded and documented. Hence, financial service providers are obliged to implement the recast MiFID (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive) and Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation (MIFIR), which together are referred to as MIFID II, and share all information with the NCA per Approved Reporting Mechanism (ARM). Pursuant to Article 26 (1) of the MIFIR Directive, other requirements included are:

  • Investment firms “executing transactions in financial instruments” have to report to the National Competent Authorities (NCAs) details of those transactions.
  • Those “complete and accurate details” must be reported to the NCAs “as quickly as possible”, but in any event, no later than the close of the following working day.
  • This is mandatory to enable the NCAs to detect and investigate potential instances of market abuse, and to help the NCAs monitor the functioning of markets and investment firms’ activities.
  • Under Article 26(7) of MIFIR, investment firms may file the reports directly, through an Approved Reporting Mechanism (ARM), or through the trading venue through which a transaction was completed.

Given the stringent requirements, JobRouter will be offering solutions to cover Transacting and end to end reconciliation. Therefore, JobRouter is cooperating with both the Approved Reporting Mechanism institutions (ARM) as well as telecommunication institutions that cover the data transfer between banks worldwide. With this, JobRouter can offer a secure and efficient data exchange between banks, financial service providers, and other parties.

About Jayesh Patel

Jayesh Patel is Managing Director and head of the JobRouter subsidiary in the UK. He has additional responsibility for financial services and has been appointed as the General Manager for Banking solutions. He is an accomplished Business Development Manager with 30 years of experience leading international teams to deliver high-impact Technology Solutions that support Business Change.

The majority of Jayesh Patel’s commercial, operational management and implementation experience has been gained in: Banking, Treasury, Capital Markets, Message Management, Investment Management and Straight Through Processing (STP) solutions. Furthermore, he provides specialist expertise in Trade Capture, Trade Processing Messaging, BPM, and EAI solutions.

Jayesh Patel comes with a wealth of experience within the financial services industry, having spent the last six years at Kofax Optitrade, a worldwide provider of software solutions using Smart Process Applications and process automation. Prior to that he has worked at Singularity, an information technology consulting company with a strong focus on BPM and workflow management, for seven years. Jayesh was instrumental in acquiring a number of Tier 1/Tier 2 corporate banks globally on their messaging and processing platform.
